I noted the forums marked "Silly Stuff" and said" Hey thats for me !"
I've recently been browsing forums around in order to maybe pick up some much needed knowledge of things Unreal. I noted some guy asking people about music. I thought thats kinda lame.........I must try it !!!
What kinda music does such a diverse and mature group listen to ?
My midlife crisis therapy involves a sport where people listen to very angry Metal in order to get psyched up.This is also frag friendly.
There's a band from My area called "Trivium'' who is currently touring with "Iron Maiden". Their current CD is kinda good. I also dig classics, old punk and some Alt. Just thought I'd throw that out there. I enjoy the exchanges of ideas here, It's refreshing to read from people with active brain cells.( Mine are popin like bubble wrap.) Thanks again for the great server. [/i][/b] _________________ B>S |

I'm too damn cheap/lazy to actually buy music, or even really figure out which bands I like. So I just listen to the radio.
My two favorites at the moment:
Live 88.5: http://www.livelifelive.fm/index.asp?ObjID=4628
The Bear: http://www.thebear.fm/

I don't listen to rock so much anymore, most of it kind of bores me. I've been listening to jazz, big band, celtic traditional, and post rock music more.
The post rock (not really sure what to call it) has been interesting me most. The bands are Set Fire to Flames, Do Make Say Think, Mogwai, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Sigur Ros, and The Silver Mt. Zion Orchestra & Tra-La-La Band With Choir(hows that for a band name )...pretty interesting stuff. Most of that is from Canada, from some weird little scene they've got going on in Montreal. Mogwai is from Scotland, and Sigur Ros from Iceland. _________________ I've got your back
