Hello, i'd like to organise a clan match between WWF and co30 clans.
Nothing competative, just a little fun.

WWF are a european clan, and are in the progress of aquiring a server based in europe somewhere.

Co30 are mostly US based, and have your server based in chicago.
All WWF members will have 140+ ping, which makes it near impossible to play a fair match.

Speaking with Zoe of Co30.
Has suggested, we play 1 game at each end, so it's fair.

And if it's 1-1 we will discuss some kind of additional challenge,
to decide a winner, fairly.

Would like to know your views on this.
I think 5v5 is appropriate.

Thanks.
Drag.

Welcome to the forums {[WWF]}Dr4g Clap

Do you guys think you'll have a server in a months time or so? The reason I ask is because we have another scrim coming up, and since we aren't really a competitive clan it takes some time getting people together. If you guys had your own server, that would make setting up the matches easier, and it would buy us some time to get our players ready. If you won't have your own server, are you friends with a server admin over there that would let us take over for a couple of hours one day?

I figure we could do a best of three( whatever game types, it doesn't matter) once over on your side, and once on ours. If everything ends up as a draw, I guess we'll have to figure something out. I'd be willing to do a 1v1 instagib match on your side to determine the draw. I played on 56k for a couple of years, so I'm quite acquainted with high ping.

So, what are your thoughts? Do you guys have a website or anything?

Take care,
ZoŽ(Co30)

Sounds good, the only problem is. If we split the servers so each get some home server time, the ping differences make it a ridiculous advantage for the home team. I have played on quite a few European Servers and once I go over 100 ping mini is my only useful weapon.

Well that's why I suggested my tie breaker deal. Assuming they win 3 matches over there, we win 3 matches over here. That leaves the ig match on their side Wink I played with high ping long enough, and with ig being my best game type I think that would be a fair tie breaker.
