Hey there guys & gals,

Sorry this weekend we seem to be having a few service provider issues ...again... the second time in about a month. Not sure what the issues are at this time, but we should be back up and running soon enough. In the mean time go talk to your wife and kids Wink or go exercise the dog, do your Christmas cards or something ! Very Happy

Cheers,

Ah well we got one of the two going again. Have fun.

ut2004://69.65.31.93:7777 is up and running. Thumb

ut2004://xgs.co30.com:7777 still down Crying or Very sad

By the way, it looks like we'll be moving to the KillerPings server from XGS permanently. The price is right, and of late the support has been better.
(begin rant) XGS has been going downhill. Their forums are gone, their ticket system is down, the afterhours support is non existant, dead phones, full voice mail and no response to emails. KillerPings has 24hr ticket support and forums at least to voice your opinion at a third of the price. (end of rant)

So make sure to add the 69.65.31.93:7777 to your favorites list before the end of December.

How much does a server cost per month, if you don't mind me asking? I have been thinking about donating to the cause, since I don't really play on any other server anymore, and knowing what your operating expenses are will help me determine how much to give.

Hi Capt.

Well we're cutting costs here at Co30 this month !!

XGS was $65us per month for a 10 slot/1spec server with a fancy control panel ( and recently no support ) and a fat pipe. KillerPings is $23us per month for a 12 slot / 2spec server on a fat pipe, with a cheesy control panel, and 24hr support. The KillerPings server seems to run good enough and the price is hard to beat. Web / forum hosting and server redirect costs are a few $ per month on top of those costs.

In any case, if you do wish to donate to Co30 server costs we appreciate any amount regardless of it's size.

Cheers,
