Going by the TV ads I was looking for a silly racing arcade type demolition game. I was right but OMG what a hoot !! The physics interaction with items on the side of the road is pretty damn amazing. If you hit it with a car it breaks (or it breaks you) The graphics, dust, sun rays, fire, water splashs are excellent. Its about time you went flying out of the car when you hit a gaurd rail ! (although it may get a bit old after a few hundred crashes) The objects on the side of the road have a realistic mass and you can drive almost anywhere in the demo. I think ill be spending my hard earned cash $$$ on this.

Theres nothing like a good car wreck ! Clap ..... ok a good headshot or two comes close.

My screen shoots dont do it justice, grab the Demo its 171Mb and youll be impressed with the graphics. You get 2 tracks one car and the 1 stunt event. The dirt track is more fun than the race track and the shoot the driver through the window events are somewhat amusing. The rag doll physics are done pretty well.

Its no racing sim, but it certainly looks more fun !

I tried out the game a bit. I found that on the road course you dont slide out as easy as you do in other games. They must have put the ultra-sticky tires on these cars Wink

After a few laps around the dirt track I started to get the hang of it. Later my son and I then went to see the Dukes of Hazzard movie. It reminded me of the dirt track course in this game. Now if they only had a car like General Lee in it...and that Dixie horn! http://www.thedukesofhazzard.net/mid/horn.wav
Maybe a few of the Hazzard police force cars chasing you and Daisy waving the checkered flag at the end.
